Dear Families of Cedar Valley,
December is here! Cooler temperatures… disappearing daylight. The upcoming weeks can become quite overwhelming as families prepare for family gatherings, special travels, and perhaps some shopping outings in preparation for special traditions. For many of us, this is an extra busy time of year, and one that is often associated with stress. In spite of the hustle and bustle of the season, I hope that school will remain a focus.
With about three weeks before the winter break begins, there is still time for a lot of learning, growing and fun. For a short month it is packed full of community events here at Cedar Valley. First, on Friday, December 14th, there is a Early Release half day for all grade levels. Students will be dismissed at 11:40am. Then on Thursday, December, 20th please join me in the morning for coffee and a chat about the community. Then come celebrate an evening of music and joy, in the gym, with our Snow Leopard Band and Orchestra performing for the Winter Concert beginning at 6:30pm. Though it is a busy time for every household, if you have time please come and visit for these events,
